The UK's First Baby TRYathlon

SMA TRYathlon logo

We’ve launched the UK’s first Baby TRYathlon to showcase the importance of Vitamin D and iron for toddlers after research1 reveals almost half (47.4%) older infants and toddlers worldwide are deficient in iron and one in five children aren’t getting enough Vitamin D2.

Our Baby TRYathlon comprises a seven strong baby squad that’s spearheaded by Olympic Swimmer Rebecca Adlington and her two-year-old, Albie.

Watch our introduction video

The baby squad is being guided by our sleep, movement and nutrition experts from SMA® Nutrition through a vigorous three-week coaching programme developed to prepare them for the inaugural Baby TRYathlon that comprises three events: the crawl, the push, and the bean bag throw.

You can follow the journey of our baby squad at @SMANutritionUKI where we’ll be posting weekly content of our little athletes preparing for the big day and of course the actual Baby TRYathlon event!

For parents eager to give the training a go with their little ones at home, we have included the challenge programme below.
