These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry/Registration instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Participants should retain a copy for their information.
The Promoter takes data protection seriously. By entering this promotion, participants confirm that they have read the Privacy Policy and agree to these Terms and Conditions for the promotion. By submitting any information required as part of their entry into the Promotion, entrants agree to their information being held and processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018.

Eligibility
- The SMA® Baby Club Midwife Live Chat Review prize draw is only open to UK (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) residents aged 18 or over, who are SMA® Baby Club members who have registered for a Midwife Live Chat.
- Nestlé UK Ltd employees and their immediate families, affiliates, agents, or anyone else professionally connected with the promotion are excluded from the monthly prize draw promotion.
- No purchase is necessary to enter the promotion. Internet access required. Maximum one (1) prize draw entry per week and maximum of one (1) prize per person per monthly draw.
- The SMA® Baby Club Midwife Live Chat review prize draw promotion is only open for participation who receive a Midwife Live Chat review email and complete a review using the link on the email.
- Entry into a draw in the SMA® Baby Club Midwife Live Chat review prize draw promotion will only occur when a qualifying Midwife Live Chat Review is submitted on Reviews Display accessed via a link in a Midwife Live Chat Review generation email, sent by SMA® Baby Club following Midwife Live Chat registration. A qualifying review comprises of star rating and written review that is displayed on Reviews page, having been deemed compliant with moderation policies. This is a condition of entry into the prize draw. Once validated, the entrant will be entered into the monthly draw for the month their review was validated. Entries will only be valid for inclusion in the current prize draw for one (1) month. N.B. Reviews made via the SMA Baby Club Landing Page are not valid for this promotion.
- A maximum of one (1) Review Generation email will be sent within any seven (7) day period, regardless of how many times a user has a chat on Midwife Live Chat. A maximum of four (4) Review Generation emails will be sent per month depending on usage. A maximum of four (4) entries into the Midwife Live Chat Review prize draw will be allowed each month, excluding duplicate reviews.
- Entries (bulk or otherwise) submitted via third parties, agents, organised groups, syndicates, aliases, duplicates are prohibited, and the Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award a prize if they reasonably suspect that an entry was submitted by such means. Any person trying to circumvent the entry process by any method (e.g. by using automated means, multiple names, phones, address, or IP) or leaving and then trying to re-join the club later in the year will be disqualified (along with their household and any other associated entries) for the duration of the promotion.
Promotional Period
- Entries for the monthly prize draw promotion will open at 00.00 on the first day of the month and close on the last day of each month at 23.59. The final draw entry period will be during December 2025 with the entries to this monthly draw starting at 00.00 on 01.12.25 and ending at 23.59 on 31.12.25.
- Valid entrants will be entered into the draw only for the month that they register. Any entries received outside the promotional period will not be accepted.
Entry Instructions
- To take part in the SMA® Baby Club Midwife Live Chat Review monthly prize draws, participants must:
- Receive a Review Generation email from SMA® Baby Club, which will be sent to SMA® Baby Club members following registration for a chat on Midwife Live Chat service on Midwife Live Chat | SMA Baby
- Click the ‘Review’ link on the Review Generation email and provide star ratings and a written review in the Review Display box.
- Entrants will receive confirmation on screen immediately and via email that they have been entered into the monthly prize draw.
- No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. In this event, the person's entry will be disqualified, and any prize award will be void. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise. Any malicious or manipulative attempts to influence the prize draw will result in disqualification at the sole discretion of the Promoter. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions or incorrect, illegible, fraudulent, or other invalid or improper information has been provided, the Promoter may at its sole discretion refuse to fulfil the prizes.
- The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. The Promoter may require such information as it considers reasonably necessary for the purpose of verifying the eligibility of an entry and a prize may be withheld until and unless the Promoter (in its sole discretion) is satisfied with the verification. The Promoter’s decision is final.
Prizes
- There are six (6) prizes available to be won, one (1) prize will be awarded in each of the six (6) months of the promotion (July – Dec 2025). Maximum one (1) prize per person throughout the promotional period.
- The monthly prize will consist of £100 John Lewis e-Gift card. The e-Gift card is valid for 24 months from the last date used and will be subject to the issuer’s own terms and conditions which can be found at https://www.johnlewis.com/customer-services/prices-and-payment/gift-cards. John Lewis is in no way associated with, or sponsors of, this promotion.
- Once the voucher(s) has/have been issued and delivered to a winner’s address it is the responsibility of the winner to use the voucher(s) before the relevant expiry date. The Promoter will not issue any replacement vouchers.
- The eGift Card cannot be used to purchase formula products. No alternative prize will be provided in whole or in part, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value. The prize is non-transferable, and vouchers cannot be sold or auctioned.
Winner Selection
- The prize winner for each monthly draw will be selected from all valid entries participating in the relevant monthly draw via a random computerised draw selection process which will be carried out within two (2) working days of each month’s closing date. The prize draws will be administered by an independent third-party company who will be responsible for the draw compliance on behalf of the Promoter.
Winner Notification
- The winners will be notified via email to the email address registered to their SMA® Baby Club account within fourteen (14) days of each prize draw taking place. All reasonable steps will be taken to contact the winners and obtain a full postal address, but if this cannot be achieved within 14 days of first contact and after three attempts of the original notification, or if a winner rejects their prize or are ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel prize entitlement and award the prize to a reserve winner drawn at the same time as the originals. Should the reserve winner fail to respond within a further 14 days of notification, the prize will be withdrawn, and a further reserve will be contacted. If after the two (2) attempts a prize is unclaimed, the prize will be withdrawn. Entrants are encouraged to monitor their email account including Junk and Spam folders during this time in case they are a winner.
- The eGift Card will be sent to the winner’s confirmed email address as provided in their original registration winner within 14 days of confirmation.
General
- Winners will be subject to a full verification process. Winners may be asked to provide further information including but not limited to asking for proof of address and ID (passport, driving licence or equivalent) in order to verify their claim which should be provided within 14 days of any such request.
- All entrants will be required to provide a genuine email address (which will be the SMA® Baby Club email details) that is personal, valid, and accessible throughout the promotion. In the event that the specified information is not provided or is incorrect, the Promoter cannot be held responsible and the email and thus access to the prize draw entry may be considered incomplete and, therefore, the Promoter reserves the right to invalidate the entry.
- If an email address becoming inaccessible during the promotion, the Promoter is not able to retrieve and amend any existing entries to a new email address.
- Responsibility cannot be accepted for claims or information that are lost, damaged, or delayed, nor any associated costs to entrants.
- Limitations of liability: Neither the Promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected to the promotion, assume any responsibility or liability for:
- Any incorrect or inaccurate entry, or for any faulty, incorrect errors or failed electronic data transmissions;
- Communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers, or providers utilised in any aspect of this promotion;
- Inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the microsite or any combination thereof.
- The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the promotion, or any entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means.
- To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, or injury suffered by any entrant or associated party as a result of entering the Promotion or accepting a prize, or whilst taking part in any activity associated with a prize, or any injury or damage to the entrant's or any other person's computer or mobile telephone relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the Promotion.
- By taking part in the promotion, the winners agree that the Promoter may contact them to ask whether they want to participate in marketing activities/PR relating to this promotion only. Such publicity may include, without limitation, the entrants’ name and/or if consent given, image or statements made by entrants concerning the promotion and/or prizes obtained as part of the promotion. The winners are not obliged to agree to any such request.
- The Promoter's decision is final and binding in all promotional matters.
- Subject to the Promoter’s Privacy Policy which can be found at https://www.smababy.co.uk/privacy-policy/, a winners’ list will be available on request by sending an email to SMA Careline® at https://babyclub.smababy.co.uk/sma-careline/ with the subject line ‘WINNERS LIST: SMA® Baby Club Midwife Live Chat Prize Draw 2025’ for a maximum of three (3) months after each monthly promotion end date. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse any or all such requests. Should any winner object to their information being made available, or request that disclosure be limited in scope they should contact the Promoter by emailing UKI.Dataprotection@uk.nestle.com. The Promoter may nevertheless disclose the information to the relevant Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so.
- In the event of exceptional circumstances outside its reasonable control or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this Promotion or the awarding of prizes, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Promotion or these Terms and Conditions at any stage but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
- The Promotion and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of the participating country and any disputes as to the meaning of these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the participants’ local courts.
- If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid, or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
- Data Protection: The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the Promotion and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent/you have opted-in to receive future marketing communications from SMA® Baby Club, one of which will be an intention that winners will be contacted to request usage of their prize and testimonials for use on social media and/or websites. Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as applicable. Click here for the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
