Full terms & conditions

These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of these Terms and Conditions and by participating all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by them. Participants should retain a copy for their information.

The Promoter takes data protection seriously. By entering this promotion, participants confirm that they have read the Promoter’s Privacy Policy and agree to these Terms and Conditions of the promotion. By submitting any information required as part of their participation into the campaign, participants agree to their information being held and processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  1. Open to UK residents aged 18 or over who are the parent or legal guardian of a baby aged between 6 months and 36 months (inclusive) at the time of entry whose tummy sound is submitted, excluding employees of Nestlé UK Ltd and their immediate families, the Promoter’s agents and anyone else professionally connected with the competition.
  2. A maximum of three entries per eligible adult is permitted throughout the competition period. Each entry may include an original audio and/or video file of the baby’s tummy sound. Only one prize may be awarded per person. Entry must be made through the promotional landing page at https://www.smababy.co.uk/tummy-talent. SMA® Baby Club membership is not required. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any person who attempts to circumvent these restrictions, uses multiple identities or accounts, tampers with the competition or otherwise breaches these Terms and Conditions.
  3. No purchase necessary.
  4. Every eligible submitted tummy sound may be used, in whole or in part, to create Britain’s Smallest Band, a one-of-a-kind musical track made from babies’ gurgles, rumbles and bubbles from across the UK. There are two (2) main prizes and five (5) separate runner-up prizes. Each main prize is awarded to one winning baby and consists of an invitation for the winning baby and up to two accompanying adults to attend the final recording session in London in early December 2026 and appear in social media content and the official music video alongside Fleur East. Each main prize includes reasonable standard return travel, one night’s hotel accommodation in one hotel room and a £150 dinner voucher for the winning baby and accompanying adults. Each runner-up prize consists of one £100 John Lewis eGift Card for use in store or online. Each eGift Card will be valid for 24 months from the date of issue and is subject to the issuer’s terms of use at https://john.lewis.com. The voucher supplier is in no way associated with, or a sponsor of, this promotion.

    Main prize participation: two winning babies will be selected to take centre stage in Britain’s Smallest Band. Each winning baby, together with up to two accompanying adults, will be invited to London in early December 2026 to attend the final recording session and appear in social media content and the official music video alongside Fleur East. For each main-prize-winning baby, the Promoter will arrange reasonable standard return travel from the selected family’s home address in the UK to London for the winning baby and up to two accompanying adults, one night’s hotel accommodation in one hotel room for that party selected by the Promoter, and a £150 dinner voucher for that party. The exact travel and accommodation arrangements will be confirmed with the selected families. Personal expenses, childcare, travel insurance, spending money, hotel incidentals and any other costs not expressly stated are excluded. A payment card may be required by the hotel at check-in for incidentals. The two main prizes are separate from the five runner-up prizes of a £100 John Lewis eGift Card each.

    No cash or other alternative will be available in lieu of the stated prizes except in the event of circumstances beyond its control, the Promoters reserve the right to offer an alternative prize, in whole or part, of equal or greater value.

    Any images are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual prize.

    How to enter

    Key milestones: Entries open at 00:01 on 3 November 2026; entries close at 23:59 on 17 November 2026; selection and casting will be completed by 27 November 2026; the London shoot and final recording will take place in early December 2026; the campaign rehearsal is scheduled for 8 December 2026; and the campaign release is provisionally scheduled for 12 January 2027, subject to confirmation.

    • Participants may enter by completing the entry form and uploading an original audio and/or video file of their baby’s tummy sound at https://www.smababy.co.uk/tummy-talent. A maximum of three entries per eligible adult is permitted.
    • Each audio and/or video file must not exceed 15MB in file size and should capture the baby’s tummy sound clearly and audibly, with minimal background noise where possible.
    • Entrants must provide their first and last name, a valid email address, their home address and any other information reasonably required to administer the competition, arrange the main prize where applicable and verify eligibility.
    • Each audio and/or video file must have been made by the entrant. The entrant must be the parent or legal guardian of the baby whose tummy sound is included and must have authority to submit the file and grant the rights set out in these Terms and Conditions.
    • All valid entries will be assessed by a judging panel against the following criteria: originality and uniqueness of the tummy sound (30%); clarity and audibility of the submitted audio and/or video file (30%); musical and creative potential (20%); and suitability for inclusion in the Britain’s Smallest Band soundtrack (20%). The panel will include at least one independent member who is competent to judge the entries. The names of the judges will be available on request. Every eligible submitted tummy sound may be used, in whole or in part, to create Britain’s Smallest Band, a one-of-a-kind musical track made from babies’ gurgles, rumbles and bubbles from across the UK. The two highest-scoring eligible entries will be selected as the two main-prize winners. Those two winning babies, together with up to two accompanying adults each, will be invited to attend the final recording session in London in early December 2026 and appear in social media content and the official music video alongside Fleur East. The next five highest-scoring eligible entries will be selected as the five separate runner-up winners, each receiving a £100 John Lewis eGift Card. Only one prize may be awarded per person. If more than one entry from the same person would otherwise receive a prize, only that person’s highest-ranking entry will be eligible and the next highest-scoring eligible entry from another person will be selected. In the event of a tie, the entry with the highest score for originality and uniqueness will rank higher. If a tie remains, the judging panel will make the final decision by reference to overall musical and creative potential. Selection and casting will be completed by 27 November 2026. The two main-prize winners and five runner-up winners will be contacted by email following judging.

      Considerations

      Once a submitted audio and/or video file has been incorporated into the final soundtrack or campaign assets, it may not be technically possible to remove it from completed or already-published materials. This does not affect any data protection rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.

      The Promoter does not encourage parents or guardians to take any action that could cause discomfort, distress or risk to a baby in order to obtain a tummy sound. Entries must be recorded safely and naturally.

      Entries received after the stated closing date will not be considered.

      The competition and related content do not provide medical advice or diagnosis. If an entrant has concerns about their baby’s health or tummy sounds, they should seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional.

      Intellectual property. By entering, each entrant grants the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence for 36 months from the competition closing date to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, combine, publish, communicate and display each submitted audio and/or video file solely for administering, producing, publishing and promoting the Tummy Talent campaign and related SMA® Baby Club and Gut Health Hub activity. This includes using every eligible submitted tummy sound, in whole or in part, to create the Britain’s Smallest Band soundtrack. Permitted uses may include the final soundtrack, campaign films and cutdowns, Fleur East’s social media channels, SMA® websites (including the SMA® Baby Club and Gut Health Hub), SMA® organic and paid social media channels, SMA® newsletters, emails and CRM, PR and media materials, broadcast activity, photography, filming, interviews, studio content, case studies, campaign reporting and associated marketing materials. The licence may be exercised by the Promoter and its appointed agencies, production partners, media partners, talent partners and platforms for those purposes. The entrant warrants that each submitted file is original, that they have authority to grant this licence and that its use will not infringe third-party rights.

      • Every eligible submitted tummy sound may be used, in whole or in part, in the Britain’s Smallest Band soundtrack. Entry does not guarantee selection as a main-prize or runner-up winner, a callback, attendance at the London recording session or appearance in the official music video. Selected entrants may be contacted about marketing, PR and participation opportunities. As a condition of taking part in photography, filming, interviews, broadcast activity, social content, studio attendance or case studies, selected parents or legal guardians will be required to sign a separate consent and release covering their baby and any parent or legal guardian who appears in, accompanies the baby in, or otherwise contributes to the content. That consent and release will permit the resulting content to be used for 36 months from the competition closing date across Fleur East’s social media channels, SMA® websites (including the SMA® Baby Club and Gut Health Hub), SMA® organic and paid social media channels, SMA® newsletters, emails and CRM, PR and media materials, broadcast activity and associated campaign marketing materials.
      • Entries must not infringe the copyright or other intellectual property rights of any third party (including professionals). The Promoter reserves the right to remove any entry that:
        1. Is violent, negative and/or discriminatory towards any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group, or is profane or obscene;
        2. Promotes or concerns the use of illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms or weapons, any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or any particular political agenda or message;
        3. Is offensive or promotes hate;
        4. Defames, misrepresents or contains negative remarks about the Promoter or its products, other people, products or companies;
        5. Contains trademarks owned by others or advertises or promotes any brand or product of any kind without permission;
        6. Contains copyrighted materials owned by others (including photographs, sculptures, paintings and other works of art, or images published on or in websites, television, movies or other media, or musical “samples”) without permission;
        7. Contains materials embodying the names, likenesses, photographs or other identifying features of any person, living or dead, other than the participant, without permission;
        8. Communicates messages or images inconsistent with the positive image and/or goodwill with which the Promoter wishes to be associated;
        9. Depicts, or is itself, a violation of any law.
  5. This is a judged competition. All valid entries will be assessed against the criteria set out in the “How to enter” section. The judging panel will include at least one suitably qualified independent member. Bulk entries, automated entries, entries submitted by trade, agencies or third parties, and entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions will be disqualified.
  6. The Promoter may reject or remove any entry that it considers offensive, unsafe, unlawful, unsuitable, inconsistent with safeguarding, advertising or regulatory requirements, or likely to cause offence or harm.
  7. Regulatory Affairs review and approval will be obtained before launch and before final campaign materials or claims are published. Content featuring pregnant women or infants under six months will not be used in communications where an SMA® product is referenced. Such content may only be used in communications relating to SMA® services where approved by Regulatory Affairs. The Promoter may impose further restrictions where required for safety, safeguarding, advertising, medical, regulatory or brand-suitability reasons.
  8. The competition opens at 00:01 on 3 November 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 17 November 2026. Entry is available only through the method described above. No postal or other entry method is available.
  9. Judging will take place after the competition closes, with selection and casting to be completed by 27 November 2026. The two main-prize winners and two separate runner-up winners will be notified by email. Each selected winner must accept their win within 48 hours of the time they are contacted. If a selected winner does not accept within that period, cannot be contacted, is ineligible, declines, fails to provide required verification or consent, or, in the case of a main-prize winner, cannot attend the final recording session in London in early December 2026 or participate in the social media content and official music video, the Promoter may offer the relevant main prize or runner-up prize to the next highest-scoring eligible reserve. Runner-up eGift Card prizes will be sent by email within 28 days of successful verification.
  10. If circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control, including fraud, abuse, human or computer error, network failure, tampering, unauthorised intervention or technical failure, affect or could affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the competition, the Promoter may, where necessary, modify, suspend or cancel the competition or invalidate affected entries. The Promoter will seek to minimise the effect on participants and avoid undue disappointment.
  11. The competition and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute arising out of or in connection with the competition or these Terms and Conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
  12. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prizes, except for liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
  13. The decision of the judging panel in relation to scoring and selection is final. The Promoter’s decision in all other matters relating to the administration of the competition is final, subject to applicable law.
  14. The Promoter reserves the right to verify winners and selected participants and to refuse a prize or participation opportunity where there are reasonable grounds to believe that these Terms and Conditions have been breached, eligibility cannot be verified, consent is not provided, an unfair advantage has been obtained or fraudulent means have been used.
  15. Selected entrants may be contacted about marketing, PR, photography, filming, interviews, broadcast, social content, studio attendance and case-study opportunities relating to this campaign. Participation in those activities is subject to the selected parent or legal guardian signing any additional consent and release reasonably required by the Promoter, including consent relating to their baby. Participation in those activities will not be required in order to receive a voucher prize unless expressly stated before entry.
  16. Subject to the Promoter’s Privacy Policy at https://www.nestle.co.uk/en-gb/privacypolicy, the surname and county of the two verified main-prize winners and the two verified runner-up winners will be available on request for 90 days after the competition closes by emailing consumer.services@uk.nestle.com with the subject line “WINNERS’ LIST: SMA® BABY CLUB TUMMY TALENT COMPETITION”. Any such winner may object to publication by contacting UKI.Dataprotection@uk.nestle.com. The Promoter may nevertheless disclose winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority where required.
  17. Data Protection: Personal information supplied for entry will be used to administer and audit the competition, verify eligibility, contact winners and selected participants, fulfil prizes, arrange main prize travel and accommodation where applicable and administer participation. Marketing communications unrelated to administering this competition will only be sent where the entrant has separately opted in. Entry data will be retained in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law. Eligible submitted audio and/or video files may be used, in whole or in part, to create the Britain’s Smallest Band soundtrack and for the other campaign uses described above during the 36-month licence period. Entrants may request access, correction or deletion of personal data by contacting UKI.Dataprotection@uk.nestle.com, subject to any lawful need to retain information for the administration, defence or audit of the competition.

  19. All normal Internet connection charges associated with the submission of an entry to the promotion shall be the entrant’s responsibility.
  20. To ensure fairness and the integrity of the promotion to all participants, the Promoter will not enter into discussions regarding the running of this promotion via social media but will respond to questions via consumer.services@uk.nestle.com.
