Tummy Talent: is your baby's tummy musical?
Share your baby’s gurgles, rumbles and bubbles to help create Britain’s Smallest Band.
Your baby’s tummy noises could help create a musical masterpiece, plus two winners will be invited to join the live recording alongside FLEUR EAST, complete with an overnight stay in London*.
Five runners-up will each receive a £100 John Lewis eGift Card*.
If you’re a parent, you’ll know the little tummy sounds that come with everyday baby life — the gurgles after a feed, the rumbles at bath time and the squeaks that can make you smile, or wonder what’s going on. Every baby is different, and those tiny tummy noises can quickly become part of the soundtrack to family life.
That’s why SMA® Baby Club is celebrating those wonderfully funny, everyday sounds with Tummy Talent. We’re inviting parents and legal guardians to capture their baby’s gurgles, rumbles or bubbles in an original audio and/or video file and share them with us for the chance to help create Britain’s Smallest Band, a one-of-a-kind musical track.
Two main-prize-winning babies will be selected to attend the final recording session in London in early December 2026 and appear in social media content and the official music video alongside Fleur East.
To take part, your little one will need to be between 6 and 36 months old when you enter. It’s free to enter and only takes a couple of minutes. Whatever your baby’s tummy sounds like, we’d love to hear it — no perfect recording needed, just a real little moment from your day. A maximum of three entries per eligible adult is permitted.

How to enter
Record it
Find a quiet spot and capture your baby’s tummy sound naturally in an original audio and/or video file, with minimal background noise where possible.
Upload it
Add your first and last name, valid email address and postcode, then upload your original audio and/or video file, no larger than 15MB.
Submit your entry
This is a judged competition.*
Judging details
*Eligible entries will be judged on the originality and uniqueness of the tummy sound (30%), clarity and audibility of the submitted audio and/or video file (30%), musical and creative potential (20%), and suitability for inclusion in the Britain’s Smallest Band soundtrack (20%). The two highest-scoring eligible entries will be selected as the two main-prize winners, and the next five highest-scoring eligible entries will be selected as the five separate runner up winners. Winners will be contacted by e-mail following judging.
Tips from the Tummy Talent scouts
- Find a quiet(ish) spot and let that tummy take centre stage.
- Short and sweet works best.
- All tummy sounds are welcome.
- Please don’t try to make your baby’s tummy make a sound. Everyday gurgles, rumbles and bubbles are exactly what we’re looking for.
- Most importantly, have fun.
Main prize: Join Fleur East in Britain’s Smallest Band
Two winning babies will get the chance to become some of Britain’s smallest musicians, joining Fleur East in the studio as part of Britain’s Smallest Band.
Each winning baby, together with up to two accompanying adults, will enjoy a special trip to London in early December 2026 to attend the final recording session, where their tummy sounds will become part of the Tummy Talent track and they’ll appear in the official music video alongside Fleur East.
To make the experience extra special, each main prize also includes reasonable standard return travel from the family’s UK home address, one night’s hotel accommodation in one hotel room and a £150 dinner voucher for the winning party.
